Clothing that Helps Hide Varicose Veins
Your varicose veins snaking up your leg are an embarrassment to you. You plan on getting to the doctor and ridding yourself of them for good, but in the meantime how do you hide them from site? You have summer parties and evening outings on the schedule and want to look, and feel, good.
In the summertime, it can be difficult to hide body imperfections. We have a few ideas on how you can attempt to cover your legs while, at the same time, staying cool and looking fashionable.
- Wear a maxi dress, or skirt, that screams summertime, is available in countless patterns, and is normally made of breathable cotton for those hot summer days and nights. A maxi dress is a sundress that flows down to your feet. This is the perfect, and fashionable way, to hide your varicose veins from view. A sarong is great for those beach days in your swimsuit.
- The most obvious solution is to wear pants. We know how hot it can get here in southwest Florida so purchasing pants that are a breathable fabric such as linen and cotton are important. Linen pants look smart and fashionable and can be worn to daytime and nighttime events.
- Try to wear color and patterns up towards your face. This will divert attention away from your legs and onto the top half of your body. Wear colorful scarves, tops, jewelry, and ties to attract attention.
- Even though leggings should be under the “pants” section, we have given them their own section. Leggings are available in many colors and patterns and can be worn under tunics, dresses, and skirts. Leggings are comfortable due to the lightness of the fabrics. Plus, you can wear this type of pant to the gym for your workouts.
